The leaves along the Ruhr and Baldeneysee turn golden, the air is crisp, and many of our guests – whether trade fair visitors, business travellers or work crews on assignment – make the most of exactly this time of year for a short break between appointments. We've put together a few of our favourite routes for you.
The Baldeneysteig: Hiking with a View
The Baldeneysteig leads around the Baldeneysee in several stages and offers particularly beautiful views of the colourful foliage along the shores in autumn. You don't have to walk the entire route – even an hour along one section is enough for a relaxing stroll after a long day at the trade fair. Sturdy shoes are perfectly sufficient; you won't need any serious hiking gear.
